Just enough sweet and sexy, but definitely had Penny’s signature stamp on it. This book is extra smart, extra funny, and extra special to me. He’s smart, secretive, and so in love with Sandra, it made my heart so full! I just flipping loved this couple! I loved her feistiness, her willingness to help any and everyone, and the fact that she made men cry ) Alex was quite the match for her. I knew from the other books I would adore her story.
Sandra is a spectacular, one of a kind heroine. He’s not open, he doesn’t want to talk about his past or feelings. There is a spark between Alex and Sandra and it’s so much different than anything she’s ever felt. Amongst all these dates, Sandra meets Alex who happens to be her handsome, younger waiter at the Indian restaurant she frequents. She goes on a lot of dates, and all of those dates end early with the guy spilling his guts while Sandra listens and gives him a shoulder to cry on. Alex and Sandra were everything! I couldn’t get enough of them. I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THIS SERIES! This is, quite possibly my favorite of the bunch (aside from that Greg and Fiona novella- which is Penny’s best work IMO).
